TAL & Multilinguisme

  • This course will focus on the computer and webographic substrate involved in the problems of representation, coding and transmission of multilingual information. The objective is to enable the acquisition and practice of the knowledge necessary for the successful exchange of multilingual digital documents from different machines, platforms and formats.

    It revolves around the following points:

    • Presentation of languages and their writing systems
    • Typology of Natural Languages
    • Automatic Translation
    • Data-based strategies to low ressource MT
    • Language Contact
    • Multilingual-training and cross-lingual transfer
