FDQFDQ

This course “Energy and Environment” is intended for second-year students in the core science and technology engineering program (groups of branches A, B, and C). The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the different existing forms of energy, their sources, and the impact of their use on the environment. The course presents a detailed description of energy resources (advantages, disadvantages, consumption, reserves, and storage techniques) as well as the various types of pollution (detection, treatment, waste management, and their impact on human health and the environment).

Given the global challenge of producing non-polluting energy, this course focuses primarily on
renewable energies, particularly photovoltaic and wind energy, while conforming to the official
curriculum.
