This electricity course has been written for students preparing, under the L.M.D1 reform, a licence in the fields of ''MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE'' . It complies with the official programme.

Teaching objectives :

By the end of this course, the student will have acquired basic knowledge of electricity, (Calculation of electrical fields and potentials, application of Gauss's theorem, calculation of currents, etc……), so as to be able to analyse and interpret related phenomena. Recommended prerequisites: Basic knowledge of physics

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of electricity and magnetostatics, and is intended for 1st year TC-MI students. The aim of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of electrostatics, the study of phenomena linked to static electricity, and to learn how to solve problems involving: electrical forces, field, potential, Gauss's theorem, conductors in electrostatic equilibrium, analysis of electrical circuits and magnetostatic phenomena.
