Outils et méthodes d'analyse urbaine

Ce cours initie aux outils conceptuels, méthodologiques et logistiques essentiels pour analyser les projets architecturaux et urbains dans leur environnement contextuel. Il explore principalement la morphogenèse urbaine via une méthodologie historico-interprétative, en s'appuyant sur des références clés :

  • École anglaise de morphologie (Cambridge, Bartlett School) : travaux de Llewelyn Davies, Lionel March, Philip Steadman et al.

  • Approche morphologique de Bernard Duprat (LAF), inspirée de l'école anglaise.

  • Typo-morphologie et analyses structuralistes : écoles italiennes (Caniggia, Muratori) et françaises (Aldo Rossi, Panerai).

Le programme intègre également des analyses complémentaires : paysagère, perceptuelle, du vécu et syntaxe spatiale, pour une compréhension holistique des dynamiques urbaines.


Project theory 5 (2025-2026)

"Project Theory“ course is intended for third-year undergraduate students. It serves as a supporting subject for the main project workshop and aims to provide consistent theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the completion of architectural projects. It is based on the reading and analysis of the components of the project and its context.

Thus, this course helps establish a framework for awareness and initiation, enabling the learner to understand and explore the contributions of theoretical knowledge in architectural practice.
