Mathematics 1

Mathematics is a fundamental tool used to understand, analyze, and solve problems in various fields ranging from science and engineering to economics and computer science. At the core of mathematics lies logical reasoning, rigorous methods of proof, and the study of mathematical structures such as relations, sets, and applications.

This course is intended for first year ST students.

Learning goal

The objectives of the course are presented as follows:

  1. Understand and manipulate the fundamental concepts of algebra, geometry, and functions.
  2. Master techniques of differential and integral calculus.
