The water treatment sector presents specific risks related to the handling of chemicals, biological processes, technical installations, and environmental constraints. This sector combines physicochemical processes, biological reactions, and complex equipment, thus exposing operators to a wide range of hazards.
The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) system is a fundamental pillar for managing these risks. It provides basic knowledge of health, safety, and the environment, and helps workers understand their influence on daily work. Beyond simply preventing accidents, the HSE approach guarantees the protection of workers, ensures the preservation of water resources and the environment, while maintaining compliance with national and international regulatory requirements.

This course aims to introduce macromolecular chains and the possibilities for developing these chains through the various methods of polymer synthesis.

Water legislation establishes rules that protect public health and the environment by ensuring safe and clean water. Regulations define legal limits for microbiological, chemical and physical pollutants. Standards guide water treatment, distribution and monitoring practices. Countries often align their national regulations with international organizations such as the WHO. Regular control and enforcement are essential to prevent contamination and guarantee water quality for consumption and recreation.

These courses are designed to help students in STEM fields to improve their communication skills, build a strong technical vocabulary specific to the technology sector, and develop skills in writing technical documents. In all these courses, students are expected to not only learn the specialized vocabulary but also practise applying it in real-world contexts. These courses might use case studies, real-world projects, and practical exercises to enhance students’ ability to communicate effectively in technological, technical, or scientific settings. Additionally, these courses often aim to improve language fluency, clarity, and precision to ensure that professionals can convey complex information accurately and comprehensibly.
