S5
The ‘Photovoltaic System’ module is a fundamental component of the Renewable Energy degree programme – Thermal Conversion option. It offers students a comprehensive immersion in the physical, technological and practical principles of converting solar energy into electricity.
Through this module, students gain an understanding of how photovoltaic cells work, their architecture and their efficiency.
The module also covers energy storage, smart regulation and thermal optimisation in relation to energy transition issues. Case studies, practical work and simulations enable students to develop practical skills in the installation, maintenance and diagnosis of photovoltaic systems.
This module is therefore essential for training versatile engineers who are capable of meeting local energy needs while integrating sustainable technologies and scientific innovations into their projects.
