The pectoral girdle, known as the scapular girdle in Anatomy,is a skeletal structure lacated on both sides of the body.Its Primary function is to connect the upper limb to the sternum of the axial skeleton,offering stability and mobility.Comprised of the clavicle (collarbone) and scapula (shoulder blade) ,the pectoral girdle forms an integral part of the appendicular skeleton.
