This course is intended for first-year students enrolled in food science: basic analytical and regulatory skills are provided in order to acquire basic knowledge of microbiology and the application of good biosafety practices within the laboratory, whether for research or analysis. Good aseptic conditions, the correct installation of premises and good handling practices ensure reliable, accurate and regulatory microbiological analysis in technical and standardisation terms.
