The course covers the chemistry of aqueous solutions or ionic equilibria (acid and base, solubility and oxidation-reduction), chemical kinetics (speed of a reaction, the order of the reaction and the influence of temperature on the speed), as well as thermodynamics (general information on thermodynamics, the first law of thermodynamics, application of the first law to chemical reactions (thermochemistry), the second and third laws of thermodynamics).
