Course info

This course is primarily intended for L3 students in Cereal Technology and Derivatives. It focuses on the technology of the primary processing of cereals, particularly durum wheat, specifically its transformation into semolina.
Through this course, students will become familiar with all the stages involved in converting durum wheat grains into semolina, from cleaning and conditioning to the actual milling process. All the equipment used in this process is illustrated, along with their operating principles and the purpose of their use in the production chain.
